Kampung Baru night market (Grab from BB ~10 min) — nasi lemak, ayam percik, proper Malay. Jalan Alor has halal stalls too — look for halal sign on individual carts. Hutong food court in Lot 10 is mixed; stick to Malay/Indian counters with halal cert displayed.

Brickfields (Little India) near KL Sentral — banana leaf, roti canai, plenty halal. Worth a lunch trip if you're bored of BB.

Village Park is famous for nasi lemak — short Grab ride. Queue at peak breakfast but moves fast.
