Jomtien vs Central Pattaya for 3 nights?

Two guys, want some nightlife but also beach time during the day. Is Jomtien too far from the action at night or is the baht bus easy enough?

Baht bus runs until late along Beach Road — 10 baht, hop on anywhere. Stay Jomtien for sleep quality, ride north for nightlife. Central if you want walkable everything and don't mind noise until 2am. Jomtien beach calmer for daytime swimming.

Pratumnak Hill middle ground — 10 min baht bus either direction, quieter than central.
